We Finished Alma!!!
Every morning before the boys leave for school we try to read a little from the Book of Mormon. Well, it seems as if we have been reading from the book of Alma for about 100 years. We are happy to say that we finally finished and have moved on to Helaman. Things seem to be moving at a much faster rate now that we don't have to read 63 verse chapters. The boys liked the battles but we are glad to be done!

The last time I read cover to cover I couldn't wait to get through Alma! Not because I didn't love it, it was just the never-endingness...if that's a word! Congrats!

Way to go! That is so funny! I have actually been in Alma (for seriously forever) but then Brett came home with some new scriptures for me! I am so excited to start marking them, but you can't just start marking in the middle. So now I am back in 1st Nephi!
I remember growing up and not really liking Alma for that very reason. Funny how, as an adult, he has become my favorite. His true turn it around, from heel to hero, story allows me to hope for myself. Bravo to you and your cute fam!
You guys are so awesome! We are in 2 nephi and the Isaiah quotes are killing my kids. It too feels like we have been there forever.
Alma, that's impressive! We seem to spend a lot of time in 1st Nephi as a family. The battles aren't quite as exciting for my girls:)
That's so funny....Because we've re read 1st Nephi so many times...we have the first few chapters memorized....We finally just skipped it all together and started with Mosiah....we figure this way--- perhaps we will finish reading it this year.....Bad huh?
